According to the post, Matt Murdock and Kirsten McDuffie will be teaming up at Murdock & Associates, his new firm, instead of Nelson and Murdock. This revelation upset fans who had grown to love the dynamic between Foggy and Matt in the show. Frustrated, fans took to Twitter to express their anger.

The absence of Foggy and Karen could potentially be explained if the show indeed takes place during the blip.
