A voice actor from Mortal Kombat 1 may have accidentally revealed that the T-1000 from Terminator could potentially become a DLC character in the near future. The highly anticipated fighting game already features an impressive roster of iconic Mortal Kombat characters, and NetherRealm has confirmed plans to release DLC packs for Mortal Kombat 1, introducing new warriors into the game. Following a tradition that originated in Mortal Kombat 9 back in 2011, these DLC packs for Mortal Kombat 1 will also include guest fighters.

In recent years, Mortal Kombat has allowed players to engage in battles between beloved characters like Liu Kang and Scorpion against well-known personalities from movies and comics, such as Jason Voorhees, Leatherface, Spawn, and the Joker. November will see the addition of Invincible's Omni-Man to this already impressive lineup of special guest combatants in Mortal Kombat 1, and Kombat Pack 1 will also introduce Peacemaker and Homelander from The Boys. Furthermore, there have been rumors circulating about the possible inclusion of other characters like Deathstroke, Harley Quinn, and Doomslayer in Mortal Kombat 1 at a later date.

Now, there is a possibility of adding another beloved character to the potential guest character roster in Mortal Kombat 1. This speculation arises from a potential slip-of-tongue by Andrew Morgado, the voice behind the more heroic and sympathetic Reptile in MK 1. In a recent interview with Dan Allen Gaming, Morgado discussed his experience recording lines with guest stars such as Ronda Rousey (who portrayed Sonya Blade in Mortal Kombat 11) and mentioned the presence of Robert Patrick. It is worth noting that Patrick is renowned for his portrayal of the T-1000 Terminator in Terminator 2: Judgment Day. Consequently, this slip-of-tongue has led fans, including Reddit user Randomclownman, to consider if Morgado inadvertently revealed a new DLC character for Mortal Kombat 1.

Andrew Morgado's mention of Robert Patrick instead of Chris Cox, as well as his acknowledgment of the T-800's guest appearance separately, raises the possibility that the T-1000 may have been intended for Mortal Kombat 11's rumored third DLC pack rather than the upcoming Mortal Kombat 1 expansion. However, this is just speculation for now. Moreover, recently leaked voice lines for confirmed Mortal Kombat 1 DLC character Peacemaker reference his father, played by Robert Patrick in the live-action Peacemaker series, suggesting the inclusion of the shapeshifting T-1000 Terminator in a future DLC offering. It should be noted that NetherRelam has not announced any DLC characters beyond Kombat Pack 1.
