In the past, Helltides had an advantage over Nightmare Dungeons in Diablo 4, as it provided players with exclusive materials like Fiend Roses and Forgotten Souls.
However, the situation has changed in Season of the Malignant. Diablo 4 players can now acquire Forgotten Souls by salvaging Legendary items, in addition to completing Helltide activities.
