In 2024, Marvel will have a light year at the box office, but fans of Deadpool can look forward to a new adventure for the wise-cracking anti-hero. Deadpool 3 will bring together the mercenary with Wolverine and Dogpool, a lovable dog with a striking resemblance to Wade Wilson. Both Wilson and Dogpool gained special abilities through unethical experiments, but while Dogpool is charmingly disfigured, Wilson's appearance is more radio-friendly after a near-death experience.
On Dogpool's Instagram account, the image is captioned by "Looks like avocado. Tastes like dog shit" and features the little canine getting a taste of Deadpool.
Deadpool 3 has had a long journey from script to screen. The previous movie, Deadpool 2, was released in 2018 under the ownership of 20th Century Fox. After the change in ownership, star Ryan Reynolds hinted at collaborating with Wolverine actor Hugh Jackman. Production on Deadpool 3 was affected by the recent SAG-AFTRA and WGA strikes, leading to several months of shutdown. With both strikes now over, the film has a new release date of July 26, 2024.
In Deadpool 3, Reynolds and Jackman will be joined by Morena Baccarin (Vanessa) and Stefan Kapicic (Colossus), as well as new cast members Emma Corrin (The Crown) and Matthew Macfadyen (Succession). There are also rumors of Taylor Swift starring as the mutant Dazzler, but Reynolds remains tight-lipped about the topic in interviews.

Deadpool 3 is one of the most anticipated upcoming superhero films, and for good reason. The first two films in the series were both critical and commercial successes, and the addition of Hugh Jackman's Wolverine to the cast has only served to increase the hype. Now, with the release of an exclusive image featuring Dogpool, a lovable dog with a striking resemblance to Wade Wilson, fans are even more excited for the film's release.
The image, which was posted on Dogpool's Instagram account, shows the canine getting a taste of Deadpool. The caption reads, "Looks like avocado. Tastes like dog shit." This playful interaction between the two characters perfectly encapsulates the tone of the Deadpool films: irreverent, self-aware, and always willing to push the boundaries of good taste.
