The Mirror has released several set photos of Deadpool 3, providing fans with a closer look at Ryan Reynolds' suit in the film. Surprisingly, there aren't many design changes from the previous two films. The red appears to be slightly brighter, but this could be attributed to lighting and might be altered during editing. The most noticeable difference seems to be the addition of black on the suit's chest, and there could also be a change in the costume material. Interestingly, the photo on the left reveals that Deadpool is missing his belt and holster.
During the filming of these photos, a car crash scene in the forest was being shot, featuring a stunt double portraying Deadpool, as shown in the left photo. Some fans have observed the presence of the stunt double in the car's front seat and speculated that there might be two Deadpools in this scene. However, it is more likely that this person is simply a stunt double. It has been reported that the film will explore the concept of the multiverse and is rumored to include various characters from the Fox franchises, possibly including Channing Tatum's unsuccessful Gambit project.
While fans can catch a glimpse of Reynolds' Deadpool costume in these set photos, there is a sense of disappointment among some as they don't reveal any images of Hugh Jackman's Wolverine or other rumored characters who may appear in Deadpool 3. It remains to be seen whether Jackman will finally embrace a suit that stays true to the comics, especially considering that this is expected to be his final portrayal of Wolverine.
