Six crew members were left with non-life-threatening burns after an accident during a planned stunt sequence on the set of Gladiator 2. The Sun initially reported the incident as a gas pipe explosion, but a spokesperson from Paramount has since confirmed the true cause. Four of the injured crew members remained in hospital overnight for treatment. According to one source, the accident was terrifying, with a huge ball of fire flying up and catching several crew members in its path.
