Remedy recently shared that PlayStation and Xbox users will have the opportunity to initiate the preloading process for Alan Wake 2 starting from October 24 at 9 PM PT / 12 AM ET / 7 AM GMT, enabling them to install the game 48 hours prior to its official launch. Regrettably, Remedy has not yet disclosed the preload timing for PC players who will be purchasing the game from the Epic Games Store.

Remedy's announcement also disclosed the storage requirements for players to install the highly anticipated sequel.
