Kaiju No. 8 is generating a lot of excitement as one of the most anticipated anime of 2024. This anime is based on the manga of the same name created by Naoya Matsumoto. Fans of Matsumoto's work won't have to wait much longer as the show is set to premiere on the Crunchyroll streaming service on April 13.
A sneak peek of the series was recently released on TOHO Animation's YouTube channel. The studio also shared a preview of the opening and ending songs for each episode. The opening song, titled Abyss, is performed by singer YUNGBLUD, while the ending song, titled Nobody, is performed by OneRepublic. This is quite unique since it's not common for English artists to sing in their native language for anime soundtracks.
The first episode of Kaiju No. 8 will not only premiere on Crunchyroll but will also be available on X (formerly Twitter), marking it as the first highly anticipated anime to debut on the social media platform.
