Humanity, a game available exclusively to members in the Extra tier of PlayStation Plus, has recently received a new update, patch 1.07. Sony consistently updates their catalog of titles, allowing PS Plus Extra and Premium subscribers to enjoy new games on a monthly basis. Additionally, Sony often includes day one releases on PS Plus, granting members the opportunity to play these games at no additional cost. For instance, Stray was added as a day one PS Plus Extra and Premium game in 2022, following earlier launches of Tchia and Humanity. Now, Humanity has just been updated with exciting new features and gameplay elements.
Update 1.07 for Humanity is now available on all platforms, according to Push Square. The developer has released a brief video highlighting the new features included in this update. One notable addition is the inclusion of machines in the stage creator, providing players with more tools and gameplay mechanics to use when creating levels. Additionally, the update addresses various bugs, such as the inability to use a mouse to select stages. It also resolves an issue that previously prevented users from obtaining the Wonderdog achievement.
In May 2023, Humanity was launched as part of the day one PS Plus Extra release, alongside several other notable games. The lineup included Ratchet & Clank: Rift Apart, Shadow of the Tomb Raider, Watch Dogs: Legion, Dishonored 2, and more. Premium subscribers also had access to titles like Syphon Filter: Logan's Shadow and Pursuit Force.
Sony occasionally includes games in PS Plus Extra and Premium immediately upon release, but their own first-party titles typically become available after a year or two. Sony recently restated their position on offering day one PS Plus games, confirming that they will continue to add games to PS Plus at later stages of their lifecycle. As a result, fans will not have immediate access to AAA first-party games, but they may have the opportunity to play new indie titles upon launch.
Starting in July 2023, PlayStation Plus Extra and Premium members will receive an increased selection of games as Sony updates the catalog in just a few days. PS Plus Extra members will have the ability to play games such as It Takes Two, Sniper Elite 5, The Ascent, Undertale, and World War Z, while Premium users will also have access to Gravity Crash Portable, Twisted Metal, and Twisted Metal 2.
