The community is now buzzing with discussions about the possibility of Hikone making an appearance in the Bleach: Thousand Year Blood-War anime. Hikone, an androgynous artificial hybrid soul with a significant role in Ryogo Narita's spin-off light novel, Bleach: Can't Fear Your Own World, was introduced to the Bleach universe. Given the anime's tendency to introduce new elements or veer off from the original story, fans are curious to know if Hikone will be featured in the current or upcoming installments of the Bleach TYBW anime adaptation.

Hikone, a beloved character from Ryogo Narita's light novel Bleach: Can't Fear Your Own World, is unlikely to make an appearance in the Bleach: Thousand Year Blood-War anime, unless the studio decides to include the main events of the novel in the series. The recent season of the anime, produced by Studio Pierrot and supervised by Tite Kubo, featured exclusive moments from Ryogo Narita's light novel, such as Shinji's Bankai. This gave fans optimism that Hikone might also be included in the anime adaptation.

Nonetheless, Hikone holds significant importance in the storyline of Narita's light novel. Since the events of this novel occur after the Great War, the likelihood of Hikone making an appearance in the Bleach: Thousand Year Blood-War anime is extremely low.
In order for Hikone to be included in Bleach: Thousand Year Blood-War, Studio Pierrot would need to adapt the main events of the light novel, which currently seems unlikely. Despite having only 70-75 chapters remaining for the upcoming two cours of the anime, it seems improbable for the studio to adapt the post-war narrative, especially since it does not feature the protagonist, Ichigo Kurosaki.
As such, the appearance of Hikone in Bleach can only become a definite possibility if the Studio decides to adapt Ryogo Narita's light novel into a separate series. Conversely, it would be intriguing if Tite Kubo chooses to incorporate Hikone as a character in the Bleach Hell Arc, should he ever undertake its creation.

Although not directly involved in the events of Bleach: Thousand Year Blood-War, Hikone plays a crucial role as a character in the series. In Ryogo Narita's light novel, it is revealed that Hikone is an artificial hybrid soul, created by Seinosuke Yamada (Hanataro's brother) and Aura Michibine under the orders of Tsunayashiro Tokinada. Hikone's genderless nature adds an intriguing dynamic to their character.
While acting as retainers for the Tsunayashiro family, Hikone's true purpose was nefarious. The light novel unravels the revelation that Tokinada orchestrated the creation of Hikone as a replacement for the Soul King.
Tokinada, the last member of the Tsunayashiro clan, was a cunning mastermind with an insidious plan: to dominate the institutions of the Soul Society and establish his reign over the entire world. However, achieving this ambitious goal depended on gaining control over the Soul King.
To make this possible, Tokinada enlisted the help of Seinosuke and Aura to create a hybrid being. This artificial creation would be formed by combining the souls of thousands of Soul Reapers, Hollows, Quincies, and Fullbringers. In addition, Tokinada obtained Gremmy Thoumeaux's brain from the Great War, using it to bring stability to Hikone. As a result, Hikone emerged as a loyal puppet, completely under the control of Tokinada.
