On Tuesday, October 24, 2023, the official website for the Shaman King Flowers anime unveiled a new key visual for the upcoming series, along with announcing the cast members who will be reprising their roles in the production. Serving as a sequel to the original Shaman King anime, this series will feature the recently announced cast members, as well as others, playing significant roles. Additionally, in Shaman King Flowers, some of these returning cast members will provide their voices for two or more characters. For example, Yoko Hikasa will voice both the protagonist Hana Asakura and Yoh Asakura, who is Hana's father and was also the main character in the 2021 Shaman King anime series.
The 2021 television anime adaptation of Hiroyuki Takei's original manga series, Shaman King, is followed by the Shaman King Flowers anime, which serves as its sequel. This new anime serves as a fully canonical reboot adaptation, building upon the original 2001 anime adaptation.

The Shaman King Flowers anime's official website recently revealed that many familiar faces will be reprising their roles from the 2021 series. Yoko Hikasa will be returning as Yoh Asakura, also lending her voice to protagonist Hana Asakura. Joining her is Megumi Haybashibara as Anna Asakura, and Minami Takayama as Hao.
Returning cast members for the series include Nana Mizuki reprising her role as Tamao Tamamura, Takumu Miyazono as Ponchi, Noriaki Kanze as Konchi, Masahiko Tanaka as Ryunosuke Umemiya, and Wataru Takagi as Tokagero.
Joining the cast for the new series are Ami Koshimizu as Luca Asakura, Kentaro Ito as Daikyo Oboro, Kenta Miyake as Ryuji Ichihara, and Chihiro Ueda as Namaha.

The upcoming Shaman King Flowers anime has revealed its main voice cast, with notable actors such as Yoko Hikasa, Katsuyuki Konishi, and Romi Park taking on key roles. Yoko Hikasa will portray Hana Asakura, while Katsuyuki Konishi will lend his voice to Amidamaru. Sumire Uesaka has been cast as Alumi Niumbirch, Shun Horie as Yohane Asakura, Michiko Kaiden as Gakko Ibuki, and Romi Park as Tao Men. This highly anticipated series is scheduled to debut in January 2024 and will be directed by Takesi Furuhuta at Bridge Studios. In 2012, Takei introduced the Flowers sequel manga series in Shueisha's Jump X magazine. The manga concluded with the magazine's final issue in 2014. Subsequently, The Super Star spinoff debuted in 2017 but has been on hiatus since then. Both manga series are published in English by Kodansha USA Publishing.
