In addition, the Wind Breaker anime announced that it will have an early screening event on Sunday, March 31, 2024 at the Shinjuku Wald 9 movie theater in Tokyo, Japan. The Wind Breaker anime series is set to debut in Japan on Friday, April 5, 2024, at 12:26 AM Japanese Standard Time. It will air on 28 MBS/TBS stations as part of the Super Animeism TURBO block. Prior to the premiere, there will be a special early screening event with the cast in attendance.
Newly announced cast for the series includes Kengo Kawanishi as Taiga Tsugeura, Toshiyuki Toyonaga as Mitsuki Kiryu, and Ikumi Hasegawa as Kotoha Tachibana. The three are best known for their roles as Muichiro Tokito in Demon Slayer, Junichiro Tanizaki in Bungo Stray Dogs, and Übel in Frieren.
The trio will be joining the previously announced starring cast members, which includes Yūma Uchida as Haruka Sakura.

Toshifumi Akai is directing the anime at CloverWorks studios, with Hiroshi Seko handling series composition. Taishi Kawakami is designing the characters, while Ryo Takahashi is composing the music for the series. The opening theme song, titled "Zettai Reido" (meaning "Absolute Zero"), will be performed by natori. The ending theme song, "Muteki" (meaning "Unbeatable"), is performed by Young Kee.
Kodansha USA Publishing holds the license for the manga's English distribution and has been releasing the series digitally since Spring 2022. The series is now also available in print, with four out of the total 13 English volumes already released. The 16th volume of the series will be released in Japanese on Friday, March 8, 2024.
