Is There A Trailer for 'Shoresy' Season 2?
On October 11, 2023, Hulu unveiled the trailer for Season 2 of Shoresy. The trailer kicks off with Nat (Tasya Teles) displaying a genuine sense of concern for Shoresy (Keeso). As viewers may remember, Nat serves as both the owner and general manager of the Sudbury Bulldogs, affectionately known as the men's Senior AAA ice hockey team in Sudbury. Despite her love for hockey, Nat has a complex relationship with the Sudbury Bulldogs. While she deeply values the team as her mother's legacy, she also finds herself frustrated by their lackluster performance.
The trailer continues with Nat checking in on Shoresy to see how he's holding up, presumably in the aftermath of the team's defeat in the previous season. In his typical straightforward manner, Shoresy replies that he's still intoxicated. The rest of the preview features a series of scenes showcasing the Sudbury Bulldogs as they tirelessly train for their upcoming playoff match against the Cyclones. However, the players need to focus and not let themselves be distracted by all the attractive people around them.

Who Is Shoresy?

Prior to the spin-off series, Shoresy was a minor character in Letterkenny who gained popularity. Despite appearing in all 10 seasons of the original show, Shoresy's face remained hidden, adding to the mystery surrounding his identity. Interestingly, Shoresy is portrayed by Keeso himself, who wears a wig and uses a falsetto voice to create a distinct presence.
In Letterkenny, Shoresy is notorious for taunting the hockey team. Whether it's during games or outside the rink, he always seizes the opportunity to hurl offensive insults at his opponents. As Shoresy's true character is revealed, viewers discover that he is a determined and vulgar athlete who is solely focused on leading his team to victory.
What Is 'Shoresy' Season 2 About?
Image via Hulu
Shoresy Season 2 picks up after the events of the Season 1 finale. In the previous season, viewers were introduced to the struggling Sudbury Blueberry Bulldogs. With a 20-game losing streak and a embarrassingly low rank in the Northern Ontario Senior Hockey Organization, it appeared that the team was doomed. Currently, Shoresy is working as a high school hockey referee. However, upon learning that the Sudbury Bulldogs are at risk of being shut down, he takes a chance and appeals to Nat for the opportunity to rebuild the team.
Unfortunately, things don't go as planned. Despite Shoresy's promise to Nat, the general manager of the Sudbury Bulldogs, that they would secure a win (with the condition that she doesn't disband the team), the Season 1 finale sees them losing their final game against the formidable Cyclones. But Nat has a change of heart. Moved by the team's efforts and their impact on the community, Nat decides not to disband the Bulldogs. In Season 2, Shoresy leads the team to new heights and matches them against tougher rivals. With the support of Nat and the town, things are looking promising - as long as they stay focused and avoid distractions.
