Fred is unable to repay the money, leading him to advise Gala to leave New York. Gala, along with her mother Julia and daughter Kate, disguises their departure as a "girls' trip" to Spain to escape from pursuers.

Upon reaching their destination, Gala instructs Kate that the trip is for girls only with no phones allowed. However, a momentary distraction causes Gala to crash into a tractor, leaving them stranded.

Amat, the tractor driver who owns a winery, allows the women to stay on the property. Gala, one of the women, starts to develop a romantic interest in Amat as they navigate their new surroundings.

Gala expresses the importance of family, emphasizing that they must stick together. The screen flashes snippets of their exciting and unpredictable adventure in Spain.

The trailer concludes with the loan sharks making their way to Europe and locating the three ladies. Gala's mom speaks in Spanish, asking, "Can we open a bottle of wine? I don't want to die sober!"

"Land of Women" marks Longoria's comeback to television after her roles in "Desperate Housewives" from 2004 to 2012 and "Telenovela" from 2015 to 2016.

Longoria has appeared in various miniseries and movies, but the AppleTV+ show will be her longest miniseries yet. She is also an executive producer on the project, which is based on Sandra Barneda’s popular novel La tierra de las mujeres and is filmed in both English and Spanish.

The show follows a New York socialite who must escape to a picturesque Spanish wine town with her mother and daughter. As she adjusts to small-town life, she must also confront her family's hidden truths and two clumsy hit men.

Land of Women premieres with two episodes on AppleTV+ Wednesday, June 26. The additional installments will drop one-by-one every Wednesday until the July 24 finale.
