The exchange of air attacks between Russia and Ukraine intensified on Thursday, with Moscow targeting cities across Ukraine in a series of strikes. At least seven people were reported injured in the attacks on Kyiv, Lviv, and the eastern city of Zaporizhzhia, with infrastructure facilities sustaining damage.

The latest wave of strikes resulted in casualties on both sides, with Russian authorities confirming five deaths and 18 injuries in a missile strike on the city of Belgorod. The regional governor Vyacheselv Gladkov reported damage to homes and public structures in the area.
