Sadie Sink is proving herself as a "Scream Queen" in the upcoming cult thriller A Sacrifice.

The 22-year-old actress, known for her roles in Stranger Things and Fear Street, is once again delving into the horror genre with this chilling new film. Sink portrays Mazzy, a rebellious teenager who reconnects with her father, Ben (played by Eric Bana), a social psychologist studying a local cult in Berlin. However, as revealed in We's exclusive first look at the movie's trailer, Mazzy soon becomes entangled with the cult herself.

"I always think of cults when sacrifice or redemption comes up," Bana, 55, mentions in the trailer while playing the role of Ben, who is exploring a crime scene that may involve a group sacrifice.

The movie, adapted from the Nicholas Hogg book Tokyo Nobody, features other talented actors such as Sylvia Hoeks, Jonas Dassler, Sophie Rois, Stephan Kampwirth, and Lara Feith.

Dassler's character, Marting, warns Mazzy not to talk to strangers before introducing her to his group. As Mazzy spends more time with Marting's group, she begins to realize the situation is getting darker.

Rois' character, Hilma, a leader of the cult, advises Mazzy to separate herself from her parents. Hilma believes that by relying less on her parents, Mazzy will become more powerful. Hilma suggests that Mazzy should purify herself and start afresh.

As Ben and Mazzy’s story lines — on opposite ends of the mysterious cult — begin to intersect, Ben has to race against the clock to save his daughter.
