Ranni Final Location In Elden Ring
In Elden Ring, players will encounter Ranni the Witch in Limgrave. After riding the Torrent for the first time, players can find her waiting in the Church of Elleh during nighttime. Initially introducing herself as Renna, Ranni provides players with the Spirit Calling Bell, a key item that consumes FP to summon various types of spirits to assist in battles.
Ranni's questline is known for its length, spanning across different locations and requiring players to defeat numerous bosses, including two Demi-Gods. While the journey may be perilous, the rewards make it worthwhile. Players will not only receive a substantial number of Runes but also acquire new armor and weapons. Additionally, completing the questline will unlock one of the secret endings.
Ranni the Witch is a mysterious character in Elden Ring, known to players as Renna. She provides tools to assist players in their journey through the Lands Between. However, it is important for Tarnished to be aware that Ranni frequently changes her location. Knowing where she will be next is vital, as it is impossible to complete the Ranni Questline without this information. Additionally, there are other characters involved in this quest, such as Blaidd, Iji, Seluvis, and the Sorceress Sellen.
How To Start Ranni Questline In Elden Ring
To begin the questline, players must first make their way to Liurnia of the Lakes and seek out Ranni the Witch. She can be found on the highest level of Ranni's Rise, located in the Three Sisters area. To reach this location, players should head towards the Road of the Manor Site of Lost Grace in the northern part of Liurnia and continue their journey up to Caria Manor. Before proceeding any further, it is advised to have a conversation with Iji the Blacksmith, as he will have a significant role to play in this quest.
Enter the castle and embark on an exploration until players stumble upon a grand chamber adorned with chairs, encircling a puddle. This noteworthy space marks the boss room of Royal Knight Loretta. Overcome her formidable presence and proceed towards the Three Sisters. It is essential to note that Ranni's tower stands in the middle.
Exercise caution as there is a dragon lurking in the vicinity. Activate the Site of Lost Grace and make use of the elevator. Ascend the stairs to discover Ranni the Witch, sitting in solitude.
After conversing with her, she will extend an offer to Tarnished, inviting them to join her service. Once they accept, Ranni assigns players with a mission to reach Nokron, the Eternal City, and recover a concealed treasure. Following that, she instructs them to proceed to the first level of her tower and seek out three individuals: War Counselor Iji, Half-Wolf Blaidd, and Preceptor Seluvis. Each of them will manifest in ethereal form. Blaidd then discloses to Tarnished that he intends to venture to the Siofra River in search of Nokron.
Make sure to fully engage in conversation with all three non-playable characters (NPCs). Once you have exhausted their dialogue, return to Ranni and have a final conversation with her. It is important to note that players will not have the ability to fast travel in or out of the tower until this task is completed.
How To Find Blaidd In Elden Ring
To reach Blaidd, players must venture to the Siofra River Well located in Mistwood, east of Limgrave. Positioned deep within the underground region near a cliff, Tarnished must thoroughly explore the area. Along the way, be sure to retrieve a map fragment near the stairs. Continue heading northeast until Blaidd becomes visible.
The Half-Wolf informs Tarnished that although he is able to spot Nokron, he is unable to find a viable path to reach it. He then suggests that the players consult with Seluvis, the Sorcerer, as he possesses more knowledge than he reveals.
Return to the Three Sisters and make your way to the third tower, known as Seluvis's Rise. Engage in a conversation with the Sorcerer residing there, and obtain the potion required for his questline. Additionally, discuss the character Nokron with Seluvis. As your discussion concludes, Seluvis will entrust you with Seluvis's Introduction, which you can then deliver to Sorceress Sellen. Locate Sellen near Waypoint Ruins, situated to the north of Agheel Lake South.
After entering the dungeon, players must defeat Pumpkin Head in order to unlock the closed door and discover Sellen. It is crucial for players to agree to learn Spells from Sellen before presenting her with the letter. Sellen will then inform Tarnished that they must vanquish Starscourge Radahn in order to reach the Eternal City, Nokron.
The Demi-God has halted the movement of the stars, and the only way to release them is through his demise. Players should return to Blaidd at Siofra River to report their progress, and he will disclose that there is a Festival of Combat taking place at Redmane Castle, where he will meet them.
Redmane Castle Location In Elden Ring
Head towards the inaccessible Greatbridge Site of Lost Grace in Caelid by taking the path south from the Smoldering Church. Once you arrive at the Site, make use of the adjacent small teleportation gate. This gate will transport players directly to the Redmane Castle.
Interact with Blaidd, who is standing by a blazing fire on the staircase, and engage in a conversation. Next, approach the NPC donning a clown attire and express your desire to participate in the battle. Follow the instructions provided by the clown NPC in order to reach the lift.
Upon reaching the beach, activate the teleporter to be transported to the Demi-God's location. It is crucial for players to overcome Radahn in order to advance in the Ranni questline.
After defeating Radahn, a celestial event will occur in the skies above Mistwood. A star will descend in the southern direction, illuminating a path that leads to Nokron. To reach this mysterious realm, venture towards Mistwood Ruins and head south. Look for a peculiar sight: a collection of rocks suspended in mid-air near the cliff's edge. With utmost care, utilize the power of Torrent to navigate the floating platforms and gain access to the hidden entrance below.
Hidden Treasure Location In Elden Ring
Upon entering the Eternal City, players must navigate the rooftops with utmost caution in order to progress. They must continue jumping until they stumble upon a Site of Lost Grace. While exploring, players will encounter numerous adversaries, including the formidable Mimic Tear boss. After emerging victorious in this battle, players should proceed to the center of the bridge and then turn left, where they will come across a pair of Ancestral Followers. Continuing in the same direction, players will eventually encounter a female Ancestor Follower engaged in a mysterious chant. To locate the Ancestor Woods Site of Lost Grace, players should proceed behind her. Upon turning southwest, players will catch sight of the remnants of Nokron's ruins, where the long-awaited treasure awaits.
Leap towards the southwestern direction onto the rooftop and continue running until you reach a ledge where you can safely descend.
Circle around and hop onto the balcony on the west.
Head southwest and jump on the round roof, then on the platform beneath it.
Ignore the enemies if desired and run to the ledge found southeast.
Cross the destroyed bridge and enter a room filled with multiple Nox Swordstress and a Silver Sphere.
Explore the Night's Sacred Ground Site of Lost Grace situated by the cliff, offering a captivating view. Engage in battles against a multitude of Silver Tears, some of which possess the ability to shape-shift into formidable adversaries such as Trolls. Ascend the stairs to behold an awe-inspiring sight—a colossal statue of a Skeleton majestically seated upon what seems to be a regal throne.
Upon approaching the ‘throne’, which turns out to be a room, open the chest inside it to obtain the Fingerslayer Blade and one Great Ghost Glovewort.
Give Ranni the blade and she will give players the Carian Inverted Statue as a reward. This statue can be utilized in the Carian Study Hall. In order to obtain the Cursemark of Death, players must ascend to the summit of the Divine Tower of Liurnia. To acquire the Cursemark of Death, follow these steps:
1. Interact with the altar located inside the Carian Study Hall.
2. Place the Statue on the altar and activate the inversion mechanism.
Jump down and defeat the annoying Fingercreepers.
Drop to the narrow edge and head southeast.
Drop again to the one beneath it and walk along the ledge.
Turn north and make sure to fall on one of the circular platforms.
Use the other circular platforms and wooden edges to reach the giant wooden elevator.
Open the big door to find a Godskin Noble in the middle of the long path.
Proceeding past it, one will reach the summit of the Divine Tower of Liurnia where the ominous Cursemark of Death awaits. Although it is not directly linked to Ranni's comprehensive questline, this mark holds significant importance in Fia's own quest. Should Tarnished individuals return to Ranni's Rise, they will not find her present, necessitating the search for Ranni's current whereabouts.
Dark Moon Ring Location In Elden Ring
The Dark Moon Ring is securely stored within a locked chest located in the Raya Lucaria Grand Library. To access it, players will need to obtain the Discarded Palace Key. This ring holds great significance in Ranni's questline as it is essential for removing the barrier that appears after defeating Astel. Interestingly, the key to unlocking this barrier is actually the Cold Oath, which is concealed within the ring.
Proceed further by following the path until you reach Renna's Rise, the initial tower in the Three Sisters that was previously inaccessible. Ascend the ladder and unlock a chest to acquire the coveted Snow Witch Armor Set.
Utilize the teleporter to transport yourself to the underground realm of Ainsel River. Continue walking ahead until you come across an item called Miniature Ranni, which will catch your eye. Grab it and find a comfortable spot on the Site of Lost Grace, just a short distance away.
A new interactive feature has been added to the game: players can now engage in conversation with a miniature version of Ranni. Initially, nothing will occur, but after clicking on it three times, the doll will come to life and request that players travel to Nokstrella, the Eternal City, in order to defeat the Baleful Shadow. Tarnished individuals must thoroughly explore Nokstrella until they locate the Baleful Shadow, which bears a striking resemblance to Blaidd. Once defeated, Ranni will reward the Tarnished with the Discarded Palace Key.
Once players have obtained the key, their next objective is to make their way to the Raya Lucaria Grand Library in order to acquire the Dark Moon Ring. However, before they can access the chest containing the ring, they must first defeat Rennala, the formidable Queen of the Full Moon, in Elden Ring.
The Dark Moon Ring allows people to reach the Grand Cloister by traveling to the Lake of Rot in Ainsel River.
Ranni Final Location In Elden Ring
Ranni's final location is deep down in the Cathedral of Manus Celes in Moonlight Altar. This area is available after defeating Astel, Naturalborn of the Void.
To confront the boss, make your way to the Baleful Shadow area and proceed forward until you reach the Lake of Rot. This area is adorned with numerous small pillars that are scattered around. Players must skillfully navigate their path by stepping on these pillars in order to traverse the lake. Continue exploring until you stumble upon Tarnished, who ignites a Sight of Lost Grace within a grand chamber.
Proceed westward from the Site and carefully navigate the narrow ledges until you reach the lower level. Make your way towards the grand entrance, heavily guarded by numerous Lesser Kindred of Rot (Pests), and head south to locate a coffin. Engage with the coffin to trigger a captivating cutscene that will transport players to the subsequent area.
Once Tarnished emerges from the coffin, they will find themselves in the boss chamber of Astel, the Naturalborn of the Void. In order to proceed to Ranni the Witch, Tarnished must overcome and defeat Astel. As they continue their journey, they will ride Torrent forward into the Moonlight Altar, where they may encounter a dragon. If desired, they can choose to skip this encounter and proceed further into the Cathedral of Manus Celes. This is the final location of Ranni, and she can be found there only after Astel has been defeated.
After lighting the Site of Lost Grace, proceed southeast and descend onto the small platforms. In this area, players will come across a bloodied doll, which is the remains of Ranni. By presenting her with the Dark Moon Ring, players will be bestowed with the Dark Moon Greatsword, renowned as one of Elden Ring's most formidable Greatswords. Furthermore, upon completing the game, players will unlock the Age of the Stars ending.
Elden Ring is available now for PC, PlayStation 4 and 5, and Xbox One and Series X|S.
