Some Helldivers 2 PC players have begun using the Elgato Stream Deck to summon Stratagems as they fight to spread democracy in space for Super Earth.
This tactic has been utilized by a few PC players before, but it gained popularity after the official Elgato X/Twitter account shared a video demonstrating how it operates.
In that same tweet, Elgato provides a link to a page that explains how players can set this up for themselves. While being able to call in any stratagem with the press of a button is convenient, it does diminish the excitement of calling one in during intense moments when players are surrounded by enemies. This feature takes away some of the frantic tension that is a key part of the game.
Not to be confused with Valve's Steam Deck, the Elgato Stream Deck was originally designed to assist streamers in managing various elements like soundboards and shortcuts. However, it can also be utilized by gamers to streamline shortcuts while playing.
