During the San Diego Comic-Con this weekend, the panel dedicated to Frank's final project, Legend of the White Dragon, unexpectedly turned into a touching tribute to the late Power Ranger star. Jenna Frank, who played alongside her father in the independent action film, shared her emotional experience with Entertainment Weekly:
The range of emotions was overwhelming. It was a mix of sadness and joy. I felt surrounded and supported by the amazing people around me, which prevented any feelings of loneliness. When you're alone, negative energy tends to creep in, so it's crucial to surround yourself with positive individuals - and that's exactly what it felt like, being with my extended family. Trying to comprehend the immense fame of a parent is strange, but witnessing the impact my dad had on people was mind-blowing. The experience definitely stirred deep emotions within me. It struck a chord in my soul. Above all, I'm immensely proud of my dad. He was not only my best friend but also my hero. Whenever our eyes met, we couldn't help but burst into laughter because we were both just silly and playful. However, when we focused and worked together, it was truly awe-inspiring. It felt so real. I thought to myself, "That's my actual dad."
More to come...
