Our report broke the news of their real-life relationship in January 2012, and after five years of dating, they announced their engagement in May 2017. The couple eventually exchanged vows at Harbour Island in the Bahamas in December 2018.

VanCamp has rarely posted pictures of her husband on Instagram, and the couple has generally kept a low profile. Nevertheless, the former Resident star has expressed her admiration for the ease she feels when she is around her spouse.

"When I am in nature and able to be myself without having to make an effort, that's when I feel the most confident. Taking off my makeup is what he loves the most," she revealed in an interview with Women's Health in January/February 2013. "For me, that's a sign of a remarkable person - someone who doesn't value superficial things."
