"The rings symbolize my growth as a person," shared the model with Vogue. "I believe that a woman should not have to give up her diamonds just because a relationship ends."

Currently, the pear-shaped diamond adorns Ratajkowski's pinkie finger, while the princess cut ring has been enhanced with additional trapezoid stones to create a new, dazzling piece.

Ratajkowski went on to explain that she got the idea after reading Stephanie Danler’s story “The Unravelers” in The Paris Review.
