Who needs a coat — or, for that matter, pants — in December? Apparently not Emily Ratajkowski.
The 32-year-old model was spotted in New York City on Tuesday, December 12, braving the cold weather in a revealing outfit. Ratajkowski donned a sleek black leather cropped top with coordinating micro mini shorts, completing the look with black Miu Miu slingback pumps, a small black leather purse, and a peek of white boxers under her shorts.
Ratajkowski wore her hair down and parted in the middle, opting for a simple makeup look featuring winged eyeliner, matte foundation, and a brown nude lip. The event was hosted by Miu Miu in collaboration with Ratajkowski.
The Italian fashion brand announced the event on Tuesday, sharing on X (formerly known as Twitter), "Miu Miu Select by Emily Ratajkowski. #EmilyRatajkowski will be showcasing her favorite pieces from the newest Miu Miu collection at our New York boutique. The selection will also be offered at our stores in Miami and South Costa Plaza." Additionally, she posted photos of the outfit on her Instagram page with the caption, "@miumiu girl ️ #miumiuselect."

Ratajkowski has a strong and enduring partnership with Miu Miu. Along with appearing in their campaigns, both on the runway and off, she has collaborated with the brand to showcase numerous of their designs at different events.
Emily Ratajkowski turned heads with her Miu Miu outfit at the CFDA Awards in November 2021, which showcased a skin-baring style. She donned a cropped gray knit sweater over a matching blue collared shirt, paired with a low-rise navy blue skirt that accentuated her toned stomach. Completing the look with a black belt and clutch, Ratajkowski took to Instagram to share the stylish moment and express her gratitude. She wrote in the caption: “CFDAs! thank you @miumiu and congratulations @ninagarcia.”
Ratajkowski also included a now-deleted sentence in the caption expressing her hesitation to post the photos due to potential controversy and body shaming. She was likely referencing the photos she shared shortly after giving birth to her son, Sylvester Apollo Bear, in March 2021 with her now-ex husband Sebastian Bear-McClard. The model's followers were surprised to see her toned post-pregnancy body in the photos.

During an interview with Howard Stern in November 2021, Ratajkowski discussed the backlash she received. "People were really angry," she said. "I posted a video in pajamas that my company had just launched...[One woman] was so mad. She was like... 'She wants us to know that she 'snapped back.' This is unrealistic pressure.' Listen, my body is different. I have a little extra skin still."
