The Ritual Sword Talisman in Elden Ring resembles a miniature sword and was historically employed in ceremonial battles as a tribute to the Erdtree. However, this practice ceased after Radagon assumed the role of Marika's partner.
Unlike other Talismans in Elden Ring, which have various versions providing enhanced benefits, the Ritual Sword Talisman can only be obtained once during each playthrough. In addition to conventional weapons like swords and claymores, players who favor Sorcery or Incantations can also utilize the Ritual Sword Talisman, as its effect complements catalysts effectively.
How To Get The Ritual Sword Talisman In Elden Ring
The Ritual Sword Talisman is a valuable item in Elden Ring that players can acquire from the Altus Plateau, specifically from the Lux Ruins. To obtain it, players must first unlock the Grand Lift of Dectus and then summon Torrent. Afterward, they should head north, continuing in that direction until they ultimately reach the Lux Ruins.
Approach the descending staircases and proceed to confront Demi-Human Queen Gilika in the boss area. Overpower and vanquish the formidable boss to gain access to the gate concealed behind it. Unlocking the chest within will reveal the Ritual Sword Talisman securely locked inside.
Tarnished individuals who wield the Ritual Sword Talisman will experience a substantial boost in their attack power of 10% when their HP is at its maximum. This enhancement proves particularly advantageous for players who have built their characters around Intelligence and Faith attributes, as it allows for the effective casting of Sorceries and numerous Incantations from a safe distance.
How To Unlock The Grand Lift Of Dectus In Elden Ring
To unlock the Grand Lift of Dectus players must collect the two halves of the Dectus Medallion.
Dectus Medallion (Left) Location
To locate the Dectus Medallion (Left) in Elden Ring, players must embark on an exploration of Fort Haight in the Mistwood region of Limgrave. Begin by travelling to the Lost Grace site in the Mistwood Outskirts and proceed southeast towards Fort Haight.
Upon arrival, be prepared to confront numerous adversaries positioned near the entrance, such as the Lesser Mad Pumpkin Head. Dispatch them with caution before proceeding inside, where you will encounter additional foes like Giant Rats and Godrick Soldiers. Successfully defeat all of these enemies in order to ascend the wooden stairs and make your way towards the tower, where a ladder awaits. Ascend the ladder to reach the top, where a chest awaits containing the coveted Dectus Medallion (Left).
Dectus Medallion (Right) Location
The Dectus Medallion (Right) in Caelid presents a challenge for early-game players due to its location. However, a hidden Gateway can be utilized to swiftly access the deepest areas of Caelid. To find the Gateway, start from the Third Church of Marika and jump through the windows towards the east. Look for the hidden Gateway nestled amidst the grass.
Once inside the Bestial Sanctum in Caelid, leave the Sanctum and head southwest towards a bridge where a dragon can be spotted. Pay no attention to the dragon and swiftly cross the bridge using Torrent. Continue west towards the location of the Minor Erdtree boss fight. Navigate behind the tree to discover a Spirit Spring, which will allow you to ascend the upper hill. Proceed onwards towards the Fort Faroth Site of Lost Grace and activate it.
Navigating Fort Haight was relatively straightforward due to its location in an early-game area. However, Fort Faroth presents a greater challenge. As soon as players enter, they will encounter Bat enemies with poisonous breath that can impede progress. If feasible, it is recommended to disregard these enemies and promptly ascend the ladder. Similar to the previous Medallion, the Dectus Medallion (Right) can be found within a chest.
Once both halves of the Dectus Medallion are obtained, proceed to the Grand Lift of Dectus and employ the complete Medallion to access Leyndell.

The Ritual Sword Talisman, resembling a miniature sword, holds historical significance as it was once used in ceremonial battles as a tribute to the Erdtree. However, this practice was discontinued after Radagon became Marika's partner.

This enhancement is particularly beneficial for those who have built their characters around Intelligence and Faith attributes, allowing them to cast Sorceries and Incantations effectively from a safe distance. The fact that it can only be obtained once during each playthrough adds to its allure and makes it a highly sought-after item among players.
To acquire the Ritual Sword Talisman, players must venture to the Lux Ruins in the Altus Plateau, which requires unlocking the Grand Lift of Dectus. This involves collecting the two halves of the Dectus Medallion, which can be found in Fort Haight (Left) and Fort Faroth (Right).
