A talented fan of Elden Ring has created a stunning depiction of The Lands Between, the game's vast open world. Since its release in 2022, Elden Ring has garnered a massive and devoted following, with many of its fans showcasing their artistic abilities to celebrate the Game of the Year title.

As FromSoftware's first open-world Soulslike game, Elden Ring's The Lands Between has captivated both audiences and critics with its sense of freedom and refreshing lack of objective markers and mission logs. Stepping into Limgrave for the first time and exploring the perilous world on one's own is an unforgettable experience for any Elden Ring fan. FromSoftware took a big risk by merging the Souls genre with a beautiful yet horrifying open world, but it certainly paid off, as The Lands Between is praised for its diverse and iconic open world areas.

Reddit user Vigamox has created an incredibly accurate and stunning drawing of The Lands Between in Elden Ring. The illustration showcases every above-ground area found in the open world, framed by two of the largest land structures in the game: the scorching Mt. Gelmir and snowy peaks of The Mountaintops of the Giants. The centerpiece of the drawing is the giant Erdtree, with the player character and their trusty steed Torrent adorned in the iconic Raging Wolf armor set situated at the center of the image.

From the cliff where the player character stands, every major area of The Lands Between is visible, including the red hellscape of Caelid, the golden fields of the Altus Plateau and Leyndell, and the royal capital at the foot of the Erdtree. Major landmarks, such as Stormveil Castle, Raya Lucaria, and the red beach where players fight Starscourge Radahn, can also be seen. The minor Erdtrees scattered throughout the game are also accurately depicted, with Miquella's Haligtree peeking out from behind the Mountaintops of the Giants in the top right corner. Lastly, the Crumbling Farum Azula, which is home to many fearsome dragons, can be seen floating between the Mountaintops and Caelid.

Some fans have speculated that with the confirmation and development of Elden Ring's Shadow of the Erdtree DLC, new areas may be added to the already vast world of The Lands Between. The image that accompanied the announcement has led to theories that the DLC could potentially take place before the events of Elden Ring, resulting in a vastly different world. Despite this, it's possible that the established areas could still be utilized. Unfortunately, there is currently no release date or window for Shadow of the Erdtree, leaving fans to eagerly await any news regarding the future (or past) of The Lands Between. Elden Ring is currently available on PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X|S.
