Maya Lopez / Echo: Alaqua Cox

Alaqua Cox portrays Maya Lopez, also known as Echo, in Hawkeye. She plays a deaf Native American Choctaw who leads the Tracksuit Mafia until the series' conclusion, when she confronts and shoots Kingpin after discovering his involvement in her father's death. Cox, who was born deaf and raised on the Menominee Indian Reservation in Keshena, Wisconsin, is of Menominee and Mohican heritage and has expressed that this background has helped her relate to the character of Maya. Hawkeye marks her first acting role.

Wilson Fisk / Kingpin: Vincent D’Onofrio

Vincent D’Onofrio portrays Wilson Fisk, also known as Kingpin, the notorious crime boss of New York City and head of the Tracksuit Mafia. Additionally, Kingpin is Maya's adoptive uncle and was shot by her in the conclusion of Hawkeye, although he managed to survive and now sports an eyepatch.

D'Onofrio is returning to the role of Kingpin, which he initially portrayed in 2015. Apart from this, he has also been featured in acclaimed productions such as Mystic Pizza, Miami Vice, and Ratched.

William Lopez: Zahn McClarnon

Zahn McClarnon stars as William Lopez, the ex-leader of Kingpin's Tracksuit Mafia and Maya's late father who was murdered by Ronin, the deadly alter ego of Clint Barton, after a tip-off from Kingpin.

McClarnon is a highly respected actor with a strong presence in both television and film. His notable works include Togo, The Forever Purge, Fargo, and Reservation Dogs.

Bonnie: Devery Jacobs

Devery Jacobs portrays Bonnie, Maya’s defiant and determined cousin with a tumultuous past, as the two were estranged for more than two decades. Jacobs gained recognition for her portrayal of Elora Danan in the popular TV show Reservation Dogs and has recently lent her voice to Marvel’s groundbreaking original superhero Kahhori in the animated series What If…?.

Matt Murdock / Daredevil: Charlie Cox

Charlie Cox portrays the character of Matt Murdock/Daredevil, a blind lawyer from Hell’s Kitchen who leads a double life as a vigilante, utilizing his heightened senses to combat crime. He is known for his role as Daredevil, which he first played in the solo Netflix series in 2015, as well as for his portrayal of Owen Sleater in HBO's Boardwalk Empire.

Henry “Black Crow” Lopez: Chaske Spencer

Chaske Spencer portrays the character of Henry “Black Crow” Lopez, Maya’s uncle and William’s brother, in the film. He owns the local roller-skating rink and is employed by Fisk’s criminal empire. Spencer has mentioned that Henry experiences significant feelings of "guilt" following Maya’s father's death, which is why he did not reach out to her in New York.

Spencer is most recognized for his portrayal of Sam Uley in the Twilight franchise, but he has also appeared in other works such as Sneaky Pete, Blindspot, and Jessica Jones.

Chula: Tantoo Cardinal

Tantoo Cardinal portrays Chula, the grandmother of Maya who chose to sever communication with her because of her deep-seated hostility towards her father, whom she holds responsible for the death of her daughter, Maya's mother.

Cardinal is an acclaimed actor with a diverse portfolio, including roles in The Last Manhunt, Killers of the Flower Moon, Dr. Quinn, Medicine Woman, and Outlander.

Biscuits: Cody Lightning

Cody Lightning portrays Biscuits, Maya's supportive cousin who consistently has her back during her bold escapades in their hometown. Lightning has described Biscuits as Maya's "sidekick, providing comic relief" and "a big, sincere puppy dog" who is devoted to his family.

Lightning has appeared in various minor TV movie roles and short films, but Echo marks his debut in a major TV role.

Skully: Graham Greene

Graham Greene stars as Skully, Chula's former partner and a grandfather figure to Maya. He owns the town pawn shop and is the only one in Maya's family who attempts to repair their strained relationship when she returns to town. Greene is most famous for his role as Harry Clearwater in the Twilight franchise, and has also appeared in Dances with Wolves and The Green Mile.

As a hard fan of Marvel, I am thrilled about the upcoming Echo mini-series. The cast is incredibly talented, and I can't wait to see them bring these iconic characters to life. Alaqua Cox is a rising star, and I believe she will do an amazing job portraying the complex and multifaceted Maya Lopez. Vincent D'Onofrio is a seasoned actor who has already proven his ability to play the menacing Kingpin. Charlie Cox's return as Daredevil is also highly anticipated, as he was one of the highlights of the Netflix Marvel series.

The storyline of Echo promises to be both action-packed and emotionally resonant, as Maya grapples with her past and confronts the people who have wronged her. I am particularly excited to see how the series explores Maya's Native American heritage and culture, as this is an aspect of her character that has not been fully explored in the MCU. Overall, I have high hopes for Echo and believe it will be a must-watch for Marvel fans.
