Vin Diesel made a young Fast & Furious fan very happy. The 56-year-old actor surprised 4-year-old Colton Pursglove by making a surprise appearance at FuelFest at Irwindale Speedway in Los Angeles on Saturday, June 1st.

The event organizers shared that the youngster, who recently fought leukemia and is now in remission, has been eager to meet Vin Diesel for a long time.

During the event, Vin Diesel, known for his role as Dominic Toretto in the Fast & Furious movies since 2001, made a surprise appearance on stage to meet the child and greet the audience.

The actor asked everyone to give a warm round of applause and welcome Colton into their family. He then walked over to Colton and gave him a cuddle, saying, "Welcome Colton, to our family."

Colton's mother, Jordan Pursglove, shared in a statement to People that Colton was so giddy and couldn't believe he got to meet his real life hero.

The child dressed as Vin Diesel for Halloween in 2023 with Jordan posting snaps of her son in costume via Instagram last November.

"When your 4 year old watches Fast & Furious movies over and over again and believes he resembles Dom, you have to dress him up as his beloved movie character!" Jordan wrote in the photo captions.

FuelFest, a major racing festival, was established by Cody Walker, the brother of the late actor Paul Walker.

Walker was a part of the successful franchise alongside Diesel. He passed away on November 30, 2013.

Diesel announced on February 24th via Instagram that Fast & Furious will be releasing its final installment, the 11th, in 2025. The actor confirmed earlier this year that the beloved movie saga is definitely gearing up for its last ride.
