Drake Bell recently revealed that Josh Peck has reached out to him after the Quiet on Set docuseries was released. Bell, who is 37 years old, addressed the situation on TikTok on March 20th, acknowledging that dealing with the aftermath has been emotional and challenging. He assured fans that Peck has made contact with him, although not everything has been shared publicly.

Bell shared that discussing the abuse he experienced during his Nickelodeon days has been a sensitive topic for him. He mentioned that it has been difficult for him to open up about his story. Despite this, Bell expressed his gratitude towards Peck, 37, for reaching out to him privately.

"He has been supportive and has been there to listen and offer help," Bell said. "I appreciate his kindness and support throughout this."

Bell urged his fans to show some restraint towards his former Drake & Josh co-star, who has not addressed the documentary publicly yet.

The documentary, consisting of four parts and aired on Sunday, March 17, shed light on the negative work atmosphere at Nickelodeon during the late '90s and early 2000s. It delved into the career trajectory of creator Dan Schneider and highlighted various incidents of mistreatment on set.

Bell opened up about his experience in two episodes, where he spoke out about the sexual misconduct lawsuit he filed against dialogue coach Brian Peck. This Brian, aged 63, was arrested in August 2003 for allegations of sexually abusing a young individual, later revealed to be Bell. Brian admitted to committing a lewd act with a victim aged around 14 or 15 and engaging in oral copulation with a child under 16, resulting in a 16-month prison sentence.

In the documentary, Bell shared his story of being groomed and assaulted by Brian, whom he first encountered while working on All That as a teenager.

Bell struggled to find the right words to explain the seriousness of the situation on camera. He suggested thinking of the worst things someone can do to another person as a form of sexual assault to understand the gravity of the situation, emphasizing that it was not an isolated incident.

Josh and Bell were co-stars on All That before starring in their own show, Drake & Josh. Despite being close friends initially, they had a falling out after the series ended in 2007. The tension peaked in June 2017 when Bell was not invited to Josh's wedding to Paige O'Brien. However, Bell later reassured fans that their relationship had improved, stating that everything was fine between them.

"We’re closer than we’ve been in a while. It’s great, filled with love. We’re like brothers," the musician shared with Us in September 2017. "We’ve been collaborating for 18 years, maybe even longer. We’ve had our ups and downs, just like real siblings. It’s a mix of rivalry and love, the whole sibling dynamic."
