In Armored Core 6: Fires of Rubicon, players have the ability to replay any mission they have previously completed from the sortie menu. This offers an opportunity to test out new AC designs, earn some cash, and receive a rating based on various criteria. The ultimate goal is to achieve the highest rating possible, which is an "S" rank. Accomplishing this requires players to effectively manage a range of factors, including speed, ammo efficiency, damage taken, and optional objectives. Striking the right balance is essential for earning an S rank in any given mission in Armored Core 6.
S Rank Criteria
Content needs to be
A player's final rank is determined by several factors. The first factor is the time required to complete a mission. Completing missions efficiently is crucial in achieving a high rank, but the speed required depends on the length and difficulty of the mission. Generally, missions with more objectives allow for more leniency in terms of time.
The second factor for players to consider when aiming for an S Rank is the amount of damage taken. Utilizing cover and boosting quickly is essential to meet this criterion. However, missions that involve particularly dangerous threats tend to be more forgiving in terms of damage taken. For instance, the mission where players confront the Sea Spider is forgiving in this regard.
Players must also take into account ammo efficiency and cost. If a weapon has expensive ammo, players should use it carefully and with precision in order to achieve a high rank. Fortunately, reloading does not waste ammo, so players can freely reload without affecting their score.
The final factor for players to consider is the number of enemies defeated. This factor usually applies only if the mission offers a bonus for eliminating enemies. Players can easily identify these missions by reading the mission briefing. In missions without this bonus, there is often no need to consider this factor when aiming for an S rank.
In general, the final ranking of any mission with optional objectives will consider the completion of those objectives.
Armored Core 6 can be played on PS4, PS5, PC, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S.
