This places immense pressure on the TVA's Temporal Loom, which is responsible for merging these branches into the Sacred Timeline. With newfound mastery over time-slipping, Loki's finale brings about a significant shift in various aspects of the story.
How Loki Saved The Multiverse
After centuries of devoted learning and relentless attempts to utilize O.B. and Victor Timely's Throughput Multiplier in order to stabilize the Temporal Loom, Loki finally realized that the issue would persist unless He Who Remains and the TVA were allowed to continue existing as before. However, Loki made the conscious decision to disrupt the cycle and "alter the equation," deliberately dismantling the Temporal Loom while utilizing his abilities to safeguard all the diverging timelines. In doing so, he transformed into a new deity, becoming a dynamic and thriving Temporal Loom within the vast multiverse.
Where Is Ravonna Renslayer?
In the finale of Loki season 2, the fate of Ravonna Renslayer, who was pruned in the previous episode, is finally unveiled. Upon awakening in the Void at the End of Time, it becomes apparent that Ravonna is now ensnared alongside the enigmatic guardian, as witnessed in Loki season 1.
The TVA's New Goal Is Tracking Kang Variants
In light of Loki's selfless act, the TVA's current objective appears to be to track down the different versions of He Who Remains. This pursuit encompasses the banished Kang, as depicted in Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania, whom Mobius mentions in the season 2 finale of Loki.

In the finale of Loki's season 2, it is unveiled that Sylvie is eager to embrace her newfound freedom. This implies that she may pursue more than just her job at McDonald's, which she had been doing previously. With the possession of He Who Remains temporal device, she now has the ability to embark on an adventurous journey across different timelines if she desires. Having expressed to Mobius her intention to pursue "whatever she wants", Sylvie's future holds numerous possibilities as she now experiences true freedom, all thanks to Loki's sacrifice in this new Marvel Cinematic Universe show.
Editor's P/S
As a Gen Z fan, I have mixed feelings about the finale of Loki season 2. On the one hand, I am excited to see Loki's character development and his transformation into a new god. I appreciate the show's exploration of the multiverse and the consequences of He Who Remains' demise. On the other hand, I am disappointed with the lack of resolution for some of the show's plotlines, such as Ravonna Renslayer's fate and the TVA's hunt for Kang variants.
I am particularly intrigued by the idea of Loki becoming a new god and his role in maintaining the stability of the multiverse. This opens up many possibilities for future stories and I am eager to see how Loki's character will evolve in the MCU. I also enjoyed the exploration of the multiverse and the different timelines that were introduced in the finale. This is a concept that has been teased in other MCU movies and TV shows, and I am excited to see how it will be further developed in future projects.
