Tyler Bates will not be returning for Deadpool 3, but instead, Rob Simonsen from Stranger Things has been chosen as the new composer for Wade Wilson's third movie. Deadpool 3 is currently in production and is expected to be a significant film in Marvel Studios' Phase 5. Despite Marvel Studios planning to reboot the other X-Men characters, Ryan Reynolds' Deadpool will continue his franchise. Shawn Levy is directing Deadpool 3, replacing David Leitch, who directed Deadpool 2. Levy announced that the film will have a new composer, following the pattern set by the first two movies.
What We Know About Deadpool 3 So Far
: Christophe Beck speculation quashed as Rob Simonsen confirmed as composer for Deadpool 3.Deadpool 3 will incorporate Wade into the expansive Marvel Cinematic Universe, although the exact approach has yet to be announced. In some manner, the film will mark the character's departure from the previous FOX universe. Several familiar faces from the Deadpool franchise are set to return for the third installment, including Vanessa (played by Morena Baccarin), Dopinder (played by Karan Soni), and Negasonic Teenage Warhead (played by Brianna Hildebrand).
In Deadpool 3, the FOX/X-Men universe is bringing back Hugh Jackman as Wolverine, even though he retired the character in Logan. Marvel has yet to explain how Wolverine's return will happen, but it will not contradict the ending of Logan. Additionally, the film will explore the multiverse in a bigger way, as seen in the crossover with Jennifer Garner reprising her role as Elektra from Ben Affleck's Daredevil universe.
The level of secrecy surrounding Deadpool 3 indicates that Marvel is positioning it as a major installment in Phase 5. One of the main questions is what Deadpool's future will hold after the third film and where he will appear next in the MCU. It is hoped that a Deadpool 3 trailer will be released soon, providing insight into the film's storyline and the potential for Deadpool's future within the larger franchise.
