David and Victoria Beckham enjoy teasing one another and once again indulged in some playful banter this week regarding their workout routines. The power couple, renowned for their rigorous gym sessions, amusingly posted pictures of themselves in recovery mode.
David, aged 48, started a mockery when he shared a photo of his 49-year-old spouse on his Instagram Story on Monday, November 6. The picture depicted her laying on her back, seemingly exhausted, on a gym floor. Accompanied by the image, David added the caption, "Not that my wife is being dramatic or anything, but this is what happened this morning." He also mentioned that her thought at that moment was, "I want to take a nap."
Continuing the mockery, the former soccer star uploaded a second photo of Victoria lying on her side and included an emoji of a woman vomiting. He tagged Bobby Rich, who is the couple's personal trainer.

Acknowledging the taunting, the former Spice Girl playfully confessed her embarrassment by sharing the exact same pictures along with an emoji depicting a woman concealing her face. Nonetheless, she had an epic response, playfully mocking her spouse on her personal Instagram Story. She posted a similar photograph of him lying inert on a yoga mat, insinuating that he was pretending to be exhausted to poke fun at her. The caption amusingly read, "And the Oscar goes to…"
The couple first met in 1997 when Victoria attended one of David's Manchester United soccer matches. They got married two years later and have been together for 24 years. They have four children together - their sons Brooklyn, 24, Romeo, 21, Cruz, 18, and their daughter Harper, 12.
A docuseries called Beckham, which premiered on October 4 on Netflix, focused mainly on David's upbringing and his successful sports career. However, viewers also found Victoria's intense exercise routine fascinating. Glamour UK reported a 747 percent increase in Google searches for "Victoria Beckham workout" after the series aired.
The couple’s trainer stated in a November 6 interview with Vogue that Victoria is fully committed to her weight training. According to the trainer, it is not only a physical activity but also a mental one. Victoria views training as an essential part of her daily routine, likening it to brushing her teeth. In fact, she has made it a crucial aspect of her lifestyle. The trainer further revealed that she personally trains both Victoria and her partner five days a week. Even when they are traveling, the training sessions continue remotely without any disruptions.
"Now, it's become a regular part of her daily routine," he mentioned, mentioning her enthusiastic embrace of it.
The online sparring regarding their exercise sessions ensued after a widely-shared snippet from the documentary series, wherein David confronts his wife's statement about her upbringing in a "working-class" household during an individual interview.
David playfully asked Victoria about the car her dad used to drive her to school as he poked his head into the room. When Victoria remained silent, he insisted on getting an answer, saying, "Just one answer. Which car did you convince your dad to drive you to school in?" Finally, Victoria admitted, "Alright, back in the '80s, my dad owned a Rolls Royce."
