As a Gen Z netizen, I grew up watching reruns of The Office with my parents and absolutely loved the show. Darryl was one of my favorite characters, and I was thrilled to hear that Craig Robinson is interested in reprising his role. I think it would be amazing to see where Darryl's character is at now and how he has grown since the original series ended. I would definitely watch a reboot of The Office, especially if it included Darryl.
However, I also understand Greg Daniels' concerns about doing a typical remake. The original series ended perfectly, and I don't think it needs to be redone. I would be more interested in a spinoff that follows a new set of characters in the same universe. I think that would be a great way to keep the spirit of The Office alive while still creating something new and fresh.
