The Big Picture
Jenelle Evans is standing by her husband, David Eason, despite him being charged with child abuse for causing injury to their son Jace.
Jenelle alleges that the Columbus County Sheriff's Department and CPS are conspiring against her, emphasizing that the focus should be on Jace's mental health rather than her husband. In her perspective, she suspects her mother, Jace, and the involved detectives of plotting to incriminate her husband. Furthermore, she seeks privacy to prioritize her own mental well-being and that of her family.
Teen Mom celebrity Jenelle Evans is currently embroiled in a legal dispute involving her husband, David Eason, and her son, Jace Evans. Recently, Eason was accused of committing child abuse by causing injury to Jace's arm and neck. As of now, Jace is staying with his grandmother, Barbara Evans, while this situation unfolds. Despite Eason's child abuse charge, Jenelle maintains that he did not harm Jace. According to court documents, Eason intentionally caused physical harm to Jace, resulting in visible marks on his right arm and both sides of his neck, with no evidence of accidental causes.

Evans shared her concerns regarding the situation in a TikTok video, which has since been deleted. According to The Ashley, she expressed her distrust towards the Columbus County Sheriff's Department, stating, "At this point, you've got the Columbus County Sheriff's Department lying to me." She also mentioned her uncertainty about whom to trust, including the Child Protective Services (CPS), remarking, "I have CPS that's kinda acting like they're on my side, but not really." The issue of her son's mental health was also brought up, with Jenelle questioning the motives behind their involvement. Although she was assured that she was not in trouble, she still felt punished and confused, confessing, "I don't know who to believe or trust right now."

In discussions with The Daily Mail and other publications, Evans has expressed her belief that her husband is being wrongfully implicated by her mother, Jace, and the investigating detectives. She refers to it as a "smear campaign" unrelated to him. "There is a disturbing situation unfolding here, but it has no connection to my husband," she asserts. Evans criticizes the one-sided nature of the story, highlighting the absence of interviews that could shed light on what transpired during the alleged "incident." When questioned about the matter, she emphasizes that it is primarily focused on her son's mental well-being and does not revolve around her husband.
Jenelle has consistently supported Eason, defending him and attributing everything that's happening to Jace and his mental health issues. She confidently anticipates their day in court, where they can finally present the substantial evidence they have been collecting since 2017. Jenelle emphasizes that her husband is not involved in this matter. "At this time, I kindly request privacy for the sake of my own mental well-being and the well-being of my family."
