Conjoined twin Abby Hensel had a magical moment dancing with her husband Josh Bowling on their wedding day, joined by her sister Brittany Hensel. Abby and Brittany are dicephalic parapagus conjoined twins.

The heartwarming video was initially posted on Facebook by Bowling's mother on November 14, 2021, and it has recently resurfaced. In the video, the couple joyfully slow dances to the song "Lose Control" by Matt Simons. They share loving looks, kisses, and even lip sync the lyrics together.

Abby, 34, and her sister looked lovely in matching white gowns with lace details and a short train. They completed their look with half-up half-down curled hairstyles adorned with sparkly barrettes. Bowling, 33, chose a gray suit paired with a white dress shirt.

According to public records obtained by Today on Wednesday, March 27, it was discovered that Abby had quietly married the military veteran two years ago.

After the news spread, the twins faced criticism about Abby's marriage and received negative comments from social media trolls. To combat the hateful remarks, they chose to confront the issue by sharing a viral audio clip.

In a TikTok video posted on Friday, March 29, a deep voice delivered a message to all the haters. Accompanied by photos of Abby and Brittany with Bowling, the voice stated, "If you don't approve of my actions but continue to follow my every move, you're still a fan."

Several hours earlier, the twins posted a video showcasing ancient sculptures depicting conjoined twins. Captioned with “The internet is extra LOUD today,” Abby and Brittany shared their post, stating, “We have always been around.”

Abby and Brittany have been sharing their story on TV since they first appeared on daytime talk shows in 1996. During these appearances, they discussed their lives as dicephalic conjoined twins - a rare form of partial twinning where two heads are connected to one torso. As a result, Abby and Brittany share a bloodstream and all organs below the waist. Each twin also controls one arm and leg, with Abby managing the left side and Brittany controlling the right side.

Nearly 10 years later in 2006, the sisters documented their journey in the film Joined for Life. Two years after that, they celebrated their 16th birthday, which was also captured in a documentary in 2008. In 2012, TLC approved a docuseries called Abby & Brittany, which only aired for one season. Following the show's conclusion, the sisters decided to step back from the public eye and focus on a career in elementary education, teaching students in Minnesota.

The sisters have always lived their lives together, side by side. When they were born, doctors informed their parents that the chances of both sisters surviving a separation surgery were unlikely.

Editor's P/S:

The story of Abby and Brittany Hensel, the dicephalic parapagus conjoined twins, is a testament to the resilience and strength of the human spirit. Despite facing challenges and criticism throughout their lives, they have persevered and found happiness and fulfillment. Their recent marriage and the heartwarming video of their wedding dance have brought their story back into the spotlight, highlighting the importance of acceptance and understanding.

It is disheartening to see that even in this day and age, conjoined twins still face discrimination and negative comments. The twins' decision to confront these haters with a powerful message is inspiring and shows that they will not be defined by others' narrow-minded views. Their journey is a reminder that we should all strive to be more compassionate and accepting of those who are different from us.
