Colorado authorities are currently seeking out a mother, Kimberlee Singler, who is suspected of killing two of her children and attempting to kill a third. This all unfolded after police had been called to their home to respond to a reported burglary. An arrest warrant has been issued for Kimberlee Singler on charges of murder and attempted murder, following the tragic discovery of her 7-year-old son and 9-year-old daughter dead in the home. Additionally, her 11-year-old daughter was taken to the hospital to receive treatment for injuries. This information was shared in a news release from the Colorado Springs Police Department.
The Violent Offender Fugitive Task Force has been on the lookout for Singler, 35, since the warrant was issued on Tuesday, according to police. The FBI is aiding in the search, as confirmed by a public affairs officer from the FBI's Denver office to CNN.
"We have some leads on her possible whereabouts, but we acknowledge that she could be anywhere," stated public information officer Ira Cronin.
Officers first arrived at Singler's residence just after midnight on December 19th in response to a 911 call reporting a burglary. The call originated from inside the house, according to Cronin, though the identity of the caller could not be confirmed.

A Florida teenager has been accused of murdering his sister during a family dispute over Christmas presents, according to authorities. Upon arriving at the scene, officers found an adult female and an 11-year-old girl with injuries, as well as two other juvenile victims, a 9-year-old girl and a 7-year-old boy, who were found dead in the residence, as stated in the news release by the CSPD.
The mother and her daughter who survived were transported to the hospital, according to Cronin. Initially regarded as a victim following the burglary report, Singler later became a suspect as the investigation progressed, Cronin explained. "We were unable to detain her for any reason until we had probable cause."
The burglary was ultimately found to be "unfounded," as stated in the release.
Following her discharge from the hospital, Singler was initially cooperative with the police. However, she later became uncooperative and the police were unable to reach her, according to Cronin.
Her 11-year-old daughter, who was injured in the incident, was discharged from the hospital a few days later and is currently recovering. According to Cronin, she is not with her mother.
According to the release, Singler was last seen on December 23. She is facing four counts of first-degree murder and two counts of attempted murder. The release stated that the charges for each alleged crime were doubled because all the children involved were under the age of 12.
Singlers bond is set at $10 million.
"The details of the arrest warrant are currently sealed under court order and are expected to be unsealed at a later time," police said in the release.
