Their meeting took place in Rhode Island during its breathtaking fall season. One particular day stands out in Danes' memory when they were biking by the sparkling water, surrounded by an idyllic setting. It was during this moment that she had a sudden realization of pure happiness, thinking to herself, "I'm really just happy."
After being together for several years, Dancy proposed to her in February 2009. They celebrated their wedding in a romantic ceremony in France in September of the same year.
