Gilmore Girls costars Alexis Bledel and Milo Ventimiglia had a romantic relationship both within and beyond the confines of the television show. In the beloved series from the 2000s, Bledel portrayed Rory Gilmore while Ventimiglia portrayed Jess Mariano. Both on-screen and off-screen, their characters had an on-again, off-again romance. Bledel eventually married Vincent Kartheiser, her Mad Men costar, in 2014. Three years later, when she received an Emmy nomination for her performance in The Handmaid's Tale, Ventimiglia, the hunk from This Is Us, reaffirmed their longtime friendship.
"I'm genuinely thrilled for her," Ventimiglia expressed to Bravo's Daily Dish. "She has always been an exceptional actress."

Alexis Bledel
Bledel and Ventimiglia dated for four years while working on the series before breaking up in June 2006. There were also rumors of a romance between Bledel and Padalecki. Before starting a relationship with Kartheiser in 2012, the Tuck Everlasting actress was briefly linked to British model John Paul. After a year of being engaged, Bledel and Kartheiser got married in June 2014. The couple now has a son together.
In August 2022, it was reported by Us that Kartheiser has filed for divorce after being married for eight years.

Lauren Graham
In 2010, the Zoey's Extraordinary Playlist star developed feelings for her Parenthood colleague Peter Krause, more than ten years after their initial meeting.
