As 2023 draws to a close, Shueisha's Weekly Shonen Jump manga will be on hiatus this week due to the magazine's break. This means that there will be no new chapters released on January 1, 2024, for all Weekly Shonen Jump serializations, including popular series like One Piece, Jujutsu Kaisen, My Hero Academia, and more.

Where to read the Weekly Shonen Jump manga

All Weekly Shonen Jump manga can be read on Shueisha's Manga Plus and Viz Media. Both platforms offer website and mobile app options. Readers can access the first three and latest three chapters of a manga series as many times as they like on MANGA Plus' website, VIZ Media's website, and the Shonen Jump mobile app. It should be noted that the latest three chapters are updated with each new release.
The MANGA Plus mobile app operates differently, allowing users to access all the chapters of a manga series. However, only the first and last three chapters of a series can be read repeatedly, while other chapters require access through a device.
Editor's P/S
As a Gen Z netizen, I am quite disappointed that there will be no new chapters of my favorite Weekly Shonen Jump manga series, including One Piece and Jujutsu Kaisen, this week due to the Christmas break. I have been eagerly waiting for the latest installments of these stories, and it's frustrating to have to wait even longer. However, I understand that the mangaka and staff also need time to rest and recharge during the holiday season, so I will patiently wait for the new chapters to be released.
I appreciate that Shueisha has provided a comprehensive list of the manga that will be delayed and the release dates for the next chapters. This information allows me to plan my reading schedule accordingly and avoid any unnecessary disappointment. I also find it convenient that all Weekly Shonen Jump manga can be read on platforms like Manga Plus and Viz Media, making it easy to access the latest chapters whenever and wherever I want. Overall, while I am disappointed about the break, I am still a loyal fan of Weekly Shonen Jump and will continue to support the series I love.
