Chris Pratt is mourning the death of his former stunt double, Tony McFarr.
McFarr died on Monday, May 13, at age 47, at his home outside of Orlando, Florida, TMZ reported on Wednesday, May 16.
Pratt's stunt double worked with him on Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2, two Jurassic World movies, and 2016's Passengers.
In an Instagram Story on Thursday, May 16, Pratt, 44, expressed his sadness at the loss of his friend and former stunt double. They had worked on several movies together and enjoyed activities like golfing, drinking whiskey, smoking cigars, and spending long hours on set. Pratt will always remember his friend's toughness.

The star of The Garfield Movie also shared his experience working with McFarr on the second Guardians of the Galaxy film. He described his stunt double as a "gentleman and professional."
Chris Pratt recalled a moment during the filming of Guardians 2 when McFarr took a hard hit to the head in the title sequence. Despite needing several staples in his head, McFarr returned to work without hesitation. Pratt praised him as being tough and always maintaining a professional demeanor.
"He will be missed. My thoughts and prayers are with his loved ones, especially his daughter," the post ended.
Pratt shared multiple photos of himself and McFarr on different movie sets, such as the Jurassic World series, on his Instagram Stories.
Donna, the mother of McFarr, shared with TMZ that her son's passing came as a surprise. The details surrounding his death remain unclear.

Earlier this week, Pratt shared his thoughts on parenting his children. He has an 11-year-old son named Jack with his ex-wife Anna Faris, and two daughters, Lyla (3) and Eloise (23 months), with his current wife, Katherine Schwarzenegger.
