Chris Pratt’s adoration for his wife Katherine Schwarzenegger is often documented via social media.

And now the actor, 44, wants the world to know just how talented an actress she is.

While walking the red carpet in Los Angeles for the premiere of his new animated film The Garfield Movie on Sunday, May 19, Pratt shared his excitement about the possibility of working with Schwarzenegger. He mentioned that he thinks she would make a "great" onscreen costar and praised her acting skills.

"I’ve asked her. I think she could be great," Pratt told People. "Because she’s actually a very good actress."

Schwarzenegger, a successful author, accompanied her husband to the red carpet event at TCL Chinese Theatre.

The Jurassic World actor, who voices Garfield in the upcoming film, confessed that his wife's transition to acting may not be entirely easy.

He explained how impressed he is when she does impressions, but she always downplays her talent, saying she would laugh too much. He thinks she might ruin the take by laughing through it.

The couple got married in 2019 and have two children together: Lyla, who is 3 years old, and Eloise, who is almost 2. Pratt also has an 11-year-old son named Jack from his previous marriage to Anna Faris.

The actor mentioned that The Garfield Movie, which features the voices of Hannah Waddingham, Snoop Dogg, and Cecily Strong, will be one of the first films his children will watch him in.

He expressed, "A movie like Garfield is suitable for all ages, and my daughters are very young. Although my son, who is 11 years old, has seen many of my works, my daughters have not seen anything I have been in yet. This will probably be the first film they see me in."

Pratt often shows his love for Schwarzenegger on social media. Recently, he posted a tribute for Mother's Day. In an Instagram post on Sunday, May 12, Pratt shared photos of Schwarzenegger with their kids and also included pictures of his own mother.
