Chris Noth has dismissed rumors that he felt excluded by the cast of "And Just Like That" after his sexual misconduct scandal. In an Instagram post, the 68-year-old actor called the allegations "absolute nonsense" and stated that he usually doesn't respond to this kind of thing. He shared a screenshot of the report from Page Six and concluded with the message, "Just thought you'd like to know."
Several hours earlier, RadarOnline.com alleged that Noth believed the crew of And Just Like That owed him an apology for snubbing him in light of his scandal. The article claimed that Noth had not been invited to cast parties and had not received any text messages from Sarah Jessica Parker, Cynthia Nixon, and Kristin Davis. Page Six picked up the reporting and covered it on their website.
Chris Noth and Sarah Jessica Parker were spotted on set in New York, filming 'And Just Like That...' on November 7, 2021. Noth, known for his role as Mr. Big on 'Sex and the City', had portrayed the character throughout the original run of the show and even married Parker's character, Carrie Bradshaw, in the first feature-length film. Although Noth returned for the debut season of 'And Just Like That...' when it premiered in December 2021, his character met a tragic end during the premiere episode after a challenging workout on a Peloton.
Shortly after Noth’s AJLT death was broadcast, it was revealed that he faced allegations of sexual assault from multiple women. He vehemently denied these claims.
In a statement to We at the time, Noth asserted, "The accusations made against me by individuals I encountered years, and even decades, ago are unequivocally untrue. These incidents could have occurred 30 years ago or just 30 days ago — but the answer was always no. I never crossed that line. The encounters were consensual. It is challenging not to question why these stories are coming to light now. While I cannot be certain of the reasons behind their emergence, one thing is clear: I did not assault these women."
After being married to Tara Wilson since 2012, Noth faced consequences as he was dropped from talent management firm A3 Artists Agency and his planned cameo in the season 1 finale of "And Just Like That" was canceled. Originally, Noth's character, Big, was meant to appear in a dream sequence during Carrie's trip to Paris to spread his ashes.
Season 2 of "And Just Like That" premiered on Thursday, June 22, without any mention of Big's death in the first two episodes. Sarita Choudhury, a cast member portraying Carrie's friend Seema Patel, hinted that Big's passing will be addressed in an unexpected way as a future story line.
Carrie Bradshaw's journey takes an unexpected turn in one scene as she embraces life once again, according to Choudhury, 56, who spoke exclusively to Us earlier this month. Despite seeming strong, there are a couple of poignant moments that demonstrate her vulnerability, catching Choudhury off guard.
And Just Like That season 2 drops new episodes Thursdays on Max.
