Chicago Med star Torrey DeVitto is expecting her first child with fiancé Jared LaPine. The 39-year-old actress shared the news on Instagram on May 19, revealing her baby bump and announcing that they are expecting a baby girl in November.

The actress from Pretty Little Liars and her fiancé took photos together on a porch, with DeVitto resting her hand on LaPine’s shoulders. She lovingly gazed into his eyes while cradling her growing bump.

Their friends and former costars shared their excitement in the comments. Danica McKellar wrote, "Yayay!!!" and Drew Seeley said, "Aww wonderful. Big congrats you two ️."

LaPine excitedly shared their big news on Sunday, hinting in an Instagram post, “Fingers crossed she takes after her beautiful mom (November 2024).”

Less than a year after their engagement was announced in September 2023 by Us, the couple revealed their pregnancy. A source revealed that LaPine popped the question at their Michigan farm over Labor Day weekend.

"It was a huge surprise for her. They had discussed getting married someday, but she had no idea it would happen that week," said a source familiar with the situation.

The couple first met through DeVitto's cousin and had been in a relationship for six months before deciding to take this major step. "Although they are not currently planning the wedding, she is excited to begin this new chapter," a source revealed to Us.

DeVitto and LaPine started popping up on each other's social media about three months ago. In June 2023, he shared a couple of selfies with a caption that said, "Insert Cheesy/Sappy line here," to which DeVitto responded, "I love us."

A few weeks later, she gave fans a closer look at their love story. Posting photos with LaPine and her sister Maryelle, the Vampire Diaries alum gushed, "Michigan Poppies and Pride #HappiestPlaceOnEarth."

DeVitto was previously married to Paul Wesley from 2011 to 2013 before finding love with LaPine. After their split, she dated comedian Rick Glassman and then started a romance with Jesse Lee Soffer from Chicago P.D. The relationship ended in 2019. Following this, DeVitto briefly dated Blue Bloods star Will Estes and was later linked to Chicago Cubs manager David Ross from 2021 to 2023.
