Another source told Us that Edwards tried to explain to Scott that Akiva was simply showing affection to Tyga. Scott initially left the stage in anger but later came back with Southside, and the situation escalated into a tense confrontation.

An insider reported that AE was trying to calm down Southside, but Southside was not calming down and getting in his face. This led to a shoving match and a fistfight between the two. Travis intervened to defend his friend Southside and pushed AE. After getting his bearings, AE defended himself.

When questioned about the altercation by TMZ, Edwards responded, "It's all good," and mentioned, "I don't want to fight. I don't want to start that situation." However, he also emphasized, "I will protect myself and my people."
