At the 2024 iHeartRadio Music Awards on Monday, April 1, Cher, who is 77 years old, looked stunning in a jewel-covered black Dolce & Gabbana top paired with black cargo pants by Chrome Hearts. These pants had multiple pockets and chains, and surprisingly, Cher revealed that she has owned them for a long time.

Cher, accepting the Icon Award, mentioned how some people question why she always wears the same pants after 40 years. "I am truly grateful and fortunate to receive this award and to have the support of those who have been by my side all these years," she shared with the audience. "Many of you may not have been born yet, but there are many who have. When I was young, I didn't possess the qualities that define 'Cher,' so it was all about chasing a dream."

She continued, "I never let go of my dream of being on this stage. I cherish every moment I spend here, as this stage is where my dream comes true."

Meryl Streep gave Cher an award, complimenting her for her kindness. Jennifer Hudson sang one of Cher's famous songs, "If I Could Turn Back Time." Cher then joined Hudson on stage before receiving the award.

Cher was accompanied by her boyfriend, Alexander “AE” Edwards, at the event on Monday. The couple started dating in 2022. (Edwards, 37, was previously in a relationship with Amber Rose, and they have a son together named Slash, who is 4 years old.)
