Michelle Lally and Jesse Lally's co-stars from The Valley decided to spice things up by mentioning some unexpected cheating rumors on the show.
During the latest episode of the Bravo series, which was broadcasted on Tuesday, April 16, Michelle and Jesse each talked about the problems in their relationship. Michelle first spoke to Brittany Cartwright and expressed uncertainty about staying with Jesse.
Michelle shared that Jesse goes through phases of trying, but she is unsure if it is completely sincere. She expressed feeling more unhappy than happy, especially since their daughter Isabella was born.
After three years of feeling this way, Michelle subtly suggested that separation could be a possibility.
Michelle admitted to holding back while Jesse tried, unsure of what was holding her back. She reflected on the past three years, feeling that it had been a long time. When Isabella was born during the COVID lockdown, Jesse was very hands on. However, as things opened up, he became distant, leaving Michelle feeling alone and resentful. This caused them to drift apart.
She expressed her doubts about being able to go back to how things were before Isabella's birth. Michelle believed that the constant fighting and lack of happiness in their relationship was unhealthy for their daughter. She considered that it might be better for their daughter to see them as happy friends rather than being together and unhappy.
Jesse, on the other hand, viewed the situation differently. During a casual chat with his friends, he brushed off his ongoing problems with Michelle as "superficial."
He shared, "Around a year back, she applied for an apartment and informed me that she was planning to move out." This news caught him off guard. "I was completely surprised by it. I didn't see it coming at all. However, after discussing it for a few hours and me expressing my desire for another chance, we both agreed to give our relationship another shot."

Jesse was optimistic that Michelle would choose to remain in their marriage. He believed that the best approach for him at this moment was to give her the freedom to discover what she truly wants.
Jax Taylor and Luke Broderick, on the other hand, seemed less convinced. They casually mentioned the concerns they had noticed. Jax, who is 44 years old, began by inquiring about Michelle's strong connection with a director whose name was not revealed during the conversation.
Jax shared with the cameras that Michelle always claims she doesn’t know who famous people are. However, he mentioned that she was spending a lot of time with a director for a few consecutive days. They met at the pool of the Château Marmont, where Michelle goes every day from her house. Jax found it strange how quickly they hit it off and started hanging out together. He asked, "Don’t you find this situation a bit odd?"
Jax then added that Michelle works as a real estate agent, so the director could potentially be a customer. Despite this, Jesse, Michelle's significant other, didn't seem too concerned about the situation. Jax admitted that he was unsure whether to believe Michelle's claims of not knowing who the director was.
Jesse playfully responded to questions about Michelle's friendship with another man, jokingly saying, "She was hanging out with him all night, having a blast. They even had dinner recently with a famous actor. I told her to dress to impress and do whatever it takes."
Luke inquired if Jesse was okay with Michelle spending "eight or nine hours alone" with a "super famous and wealthy" individual. Jesse reassured Luke that he had no worries about Michelle's time spent with the director.
"I believe that when you feel secure in your relationship or in yourself, you have trust that Michelle won't do anything to jeopardize it. If she does make a mistake, it's her responsibility, and I can share with Isabella for the next 40 years that her mom messed everything up," he told Luke. "I wouldn't be able to forgive cheating. That would be the ultimate dealbreaker for me. I can work through anything else, but cheating is a no-go. I give her freedom to make her own choices and trust that she will make the right decisions."
In a confessional, Luke hinted that he had some information that he couldn't reveal publicly. This slip-up occurred after his girlfriend, Kristen Doute, mentioned that she was choosing not to disclose certain details about Michelle out of respect for her.
"I know Jesse and Michelle’s relationship isn’t the best. But I am also holding a secret that could end everything,” Luke mentioned. “I can’t say what I really want to say."
Before joining The Valley, Jesse and Michelle got engaged in November 2017 after dating for several years. They got married one year later at the Beaulieu Garden in California and later welcomed their daughter Isabella in 2020. In March, it was confirmed that Jesse and Michelle had separated after almost six years of marriage.
Jesse and Michelle continued their conversation about their problems at the end of the episode.
"I'm not really feeling happy right now. I told [Brittany] that I'm unsure about where our relationship is headed and it's taking a toll on my happiness," Michelle confided in her husband. "Jesse and I have been struggling for a while now, and all the arguments are draining. I'm not sure if this is how I want to spend the rest of my life."
Jesse was determined to keep fighting for their future together. He expressed, “I want us to work as a team and that's why I'm here doing what I need to do. I believe in us, even though I understand you may not be sure right now.”
Michelle agreed to give it a try, but she couldn't make any promises. In the preview for the next episode, things took a turn for the worse when Jax accused Michelle of communicating with other men. The tension escalated during a group outing, with Jesse getting into a heated confrontation with Kristen, 41, and Luke.
Jesse warned his costars that if they reveal any secrets about his wife that he doesn't already know, he will retaliate fiercely.
You can catch The Valley on Bravo every Tuesday at 9 p.m. ET, and watch it on Peacock the following day for streaming.
