Bravo has started filming The Valley, a spinoff of Vanderpump Rules, to document Jax Taylor and Brittany Cartwright's recent separation.

Cartwright, 35, shared on the "When Reality Hits" podcast that they resumed filming after wrapping up in September. They originally filmed in July, August, and September for The Valley, but decided to pick up the cameras again for a few days to update everyone on their current lives.

Please remember to consider the show's filming schedule while watching, as a lot has changed since filming wrapped up.

In a recent episode of her podcast with Taylor, Cartwright revealed that her marriage was going through a rough patch just last month.

"Marriages can be tough, and I've had a challenging year," she shared on February 29. "Jax and I are currently separated, and I felt it was best for my mental well-being to move into a new home to have some space. It's still difficult for me to talk about, so I won't go into too much detail right now."

Cartwright, who has a 2-year-old son named Cruz with Taylor, also decided to remove her husband's last name from her social media profiles after addressing their relationship status.

For Taylor, he described the changing dynamics with his wife as "fresh and new." He shared with Page Six on February 29 that it's not about evil or negativity, but rather about two individuals who have reached a milestone in their 10-year marriage. They are currently taking some time apart to reevaluate their situation, especially with their child in mind, wanting to make the best decision for their kid.

Taylor and Cartwright’s love story began on Vanderpump Rules back in 2015. They even had their wedding documented for the show before they said goodbye to it in 2020.

But now, fans can once again witness their real-life journey on The Valley. This new series showcases a tight-knit group of friends as they transition from partying in West Hollywood to embracing parenthood in the Valley. Along the way, they tackle business ventures, turbulent relationships, and lively friendships.

In her most recent podcast episode, Cartwright expressed her anticipation for the show's premiere. Despite changes in her marriage since filming ended, she remains excited.

"We're still thrilled," she shared. "The show is going to be amazing. We experience many positive moments and plenty of drama."

For those who are wondering whether Cartwright and Taylor's relationship issues are just for show, both reality stars wanted to make it clear that this is their real life. Cartwright emphasized that she would never make big changes like moving her child if it wasn't for the sake of their relationship and trying to work things out. She firmly stated that their situation is not a publicity stunt.

Taylor emphasized the importance of being honest with their fans, stating that it is the right thing to do.

"The Valley" will premiere on Bravo on Tuesday, March 19, at 9 p.m. ET. Viewers can also stream episodes on Peacock the following day.
