Episode 2 recap
The second episode of Chained Soldier opened with a brief look at Yuuki's caretaking duties, for which he received praise from Kyouka and the others. Nei then explained that Mato is divided into ten areas, and the 7th Squad's dormitory is located in one of the most active areas for Shuuki. During dinner, Yuuki attempted to discuss his lack of combat experience since joining, but Kyouka and Himari quickly dismissed the conversation.
Yuuki was cleaning the dormitory’s watchtower when he accidentally caught a glimpse of Himari naked. Unbeknownst to him, Shushu had shrunk herself to spy on him and took a picture to blackmail him. In exchange for not showing the photo to Himari or Kyouka, Shushu demanded Yuuki become her slave and Kyouka's as well.
Nei and Kyouka left for a meeting, leaving Yuuki and Shushu alone. Suddenly, two massive Shuuki attacked the dormitory. Shushu was unable to defeat the second one on her own, but Yuuki partially transformed and saved her life. The episode concluded with a human woman allied with Shuuki sensing Yuuki’s presence in Mato.
