The excitement of the 2024 Met Gala continued even after the celebrities left the Metropolitan Museum of Art.

Following fashion's grandest event on Monday, May 6, many celebrities headed to various star-studded Met Gala after parties scattered throughout New York City. One of these parties was hosted by FKA Twigs at the Boo Boom Room in The Standard, High Line hotel.

FKA Twigs created a 90s nostalgic wonderland at the event, showcasing new songs from her upcoming album as she danced across the bar. Sets by MikeQ and Eli Escobar added to the ambiance with a group of dancers for a truly memorable evening.

Twigs, aged 36, looked stunning in a nude and black off-the-shoulder dress as she mingled with guests, even taking to the VIP section to dance alongside Camila Cabello and Lil Nas X. The VIP area also saw the unexpected sight of Christian Siriano twerking. Adrienne Bailon-Houghton joined in on the fun by dancing with friends and flipping her hair around. The event was also graced by famous NYC drag queens and various queer nightlife celebrities.

Cardi B took on the role of host for her very own Met Gala afterparty at The Stranger nightclub in NYC. Having turned heads on the Met red carpet in a stunning black tulle Windowsen ball gown, the 31-year-old rapper later changed into a striking red custom Revolve Atelier dress for the event.

According to sources, Cardi made her grand entrance at the party at approximately 2 a.m. ET on Tuesday, May 7, arriving an hour later than originally planned. Although Megan Thee Stallion was expected to join the festivities, she unfortunately had to cancel her attendance, as confirmed by a source.

Cardi was noticeably seen at the afterparty with her estranged husband, Offset. In January, Cardi revealed that she and Offset, 32, got back together on New Year’s Eve after breaking up in December 2023. Although they haven't officially reconciled, a source shared with Us in January that Cardi is open to giving their relationship another chance.

According to sources, the couple was spotted getting cozy at Cardi’s Met Gala afterparty. They were seen whispering to each other and dancing together at the DJ booth.

Cardi and Offset went to Richie Akiva’s Met Gala afterparty, which was hosted by several celebrities including Doja Cat, Serena Williams, and Rita Ora, and sponsored by Ray-Ban at Casa Cipriani in NYC.

The venue was magically turned into a midnight garden of good and evil for the Met Gala. Celebrities like Lana Del Rey, SZA, Lizzo, and Jaden Smith arrived in stunning 'The Garden of Time' themed outfits. Other guests included Sam Smith, FKA Twigs, Odell Beckham Jr., Joan Smalls, Evan Mock, and Camila Cabello.

Some of the famous faces at the event included Emily Ratajkowski, Gabrielle Union, Dwyane Wade, Dove Cameron, Lewis Hamilton, Winnie Harlow, Jodie Turner Smith, Cynthia Erivo, Serena Williams, and Irina Shayk.

Guests at the event were pleasantly surprised by the fun elements, including a candy station. Late night partygoers were delighted with delicious vegan treats from Neat Burger, such as Neat dogs, Burgers, Chick’n, Fries, and desserts like Casa Cipriani Gelato.
