In Cassie's lawsuit against her ex-boyfriend Sean "Diddy" Combs, she alleged that the music mogul had threatened to detonate Kid Cudi's vehicle. According to court documents obtained by The New York Times on Thursday, November 16, Cassie claimed that Diddy, now 54 years old, became extremely furious upon discovering her relationship with Cudi, now 39 years old, back in 2012. Cudi's representative confirmed the veracity of Cassie's statement.

Diddy and Cassie, who is now 37 years old, had an on-again, off-again relationship since 2007. In April 2012, during one of their breaks, Cassie began a romantic involvement with Cudi.

In 2018, Diddy and Cassie (also known as Casandra Ventura) officially ended their relationship for good. According to an exclusive source, this breakup was the most genuine one they had experienced. After being together for over a decade and going through numerous breakups, they finally decided to part ways.

Cassie, previously under contract with Diddy's record label, has come forward with allegations of rape and persistent physical abuse spanning nearly a decade, as stated in her court filing submitted on Thursday.

In a statement to the Times, Cassie expressed her readiness to share her story after years of silence and secrecy, aiming to raise awareness for herself and other women experiencing violence and abuse within their relationships.

In a statement from his lawyer, Ben Brafman, Diddy firmly refuted Cassie's accusations, describing them as offensive and outrageous. According to Brafman, Cassie had been persistently demanding $30 million from Diddy for the past six months, threatening to write a damaging book about their relationship if her demand wasn't met. Brafman stated that this was nothing short of blatant blackmail, unequivocally rejected by Diddy. Despite retracting her initial threat, Cassie has now resorted to filing a lawsuit riddled with baseless and outrageous lies, solely aiming to damage Diddy's reputation and secure financial gain.

Cassie has since moved on with personal trainer Alex Fine, whom she married in September 2019. Cassie and Fine, 30, share two daughters.

Diddy, for his part, is a father of seven children.
