Cassandra Dawn: Linking Selling Sunset and Vanderpump Rules in a Fiery Connection
Selling Sunset's Cassandra Dawn creates drama on 'Vanderpump Rules' as she's confronted by Kristen Doute about her past as Tom Sandoval's roommate and fling
Prior to her appearance on Selling Sunset, Cassandra Dawn had already caused turmoil on Vanderpump Rules.
Cassandra, also known professionally as Cassandra Repstad, made her debut on the seventh season of the show on Netflix. During that season, she formed a fast friendship with Chelsea Lazkani. However, it was her claimed connection with Bre Tiesi that left many of us puzzled. According to Cassandra, she and Bre, who is 32 years old, were friends during their modeling days. However, Bre vehemently denied this on multiple occasions.
Cassandra has effortlessly embraced her role on the Netflix series, possibly owing to her past experience in reality TV. As stated on Cassandra's IMDb profile, she had previously featured in an episode of Bravo's Vanderpump Rules during its first season.
In the 2013 episode, Kristen Doute and Stassi Schroeder find themselves captivated by one of the models while attending a photo shoot.
"Do you remember the girl with the ombre hair?" Kristen, who is now 40, mentions, pointing towards Cassandra, who used to go by the name Casey. "We were discussing SUR, and she mentioned that my boyfriend, Tom Sandoval, used to bartend there." Kristen continues, "He still works as a bartender there. He only lived with the twins, the two girls."
Kristen goes on to describe Cassandra, saying, "She was the type of girl who would confidently pose in bikinis on top of cars, flaunting her blond highlights."
Stassi, who is now 35 years old, expressed her opinions about Sandoval's previous roommates. She recalled that before Kristen and Tom began dating, Tom lived with two Asian twin girls who worked as "models" at Hooters.
The situation became uncomfortable when Stassi reminded Kristen that Sandoval, who is now 41, had been involved with one of the twins. Kristen attempted to determine which twin it was, either Cassandra or her sister, but Stassi ended up confronting her directly instead.
“Did you have sex with Tom Sandoval or was it your sister?” Stassi asked, to which Cassandra replied, “It was a long time ago. I was a baby and so was he.”

From 2007 to 2013, Kristen was in a relationship with Sandoval until her unfaithfulness was revealed on season 2 of Vanderpump Rules. She had become involved with their costar, Jax Taylor.
After their breakup, Sandoval started dating Ariana Madix, and they were together for almost ten years. However, in March, it was revealed that Sandoval had cheated on Madix with another costar, Raquel Leviss. This led to their separation.
Earlier this year, Kristen recounted her encounter with Sandoval's former partner while shooting Vanderpump Rules.
"When I initially met Tom Sandoval, he had two young ladies residing with him. One of them was still in high school when he engaged in a relationship with her. I have a clear memory of that," she stated on her "Sex, Love, and What Else Matters" podcast in July as she revisited the show. "At that time, I was extremely emotional about it, I was losing my mind. But now, I find it amusing how insignificant and foolish it was."
